Olga Dmitrievna Gladkova is the head of the Institute of International Education. The seminar was held for them by Olga Dmitrievna Gladkova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, head of Institute of International Education. She said that the number of places allocated to foreign citizens for study within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation in the academic year 2023/2024 was increased to 30,000.
The quota is an opportunity to study without a tuition fee and also is an opportunity to get an academic scholarship. In all of Russia only two organizations have quotas for training foreign citizens. These institutes are the Federal Agency for the commonwealth of Independent states and the Ministry of science and higher education.
The application procedure was explained in great detail by the head of the Institute of international education. After the candidates have filled the form and registered on the portal the selection of candidates takes place in two stages - The first one is carried out by Rossotrudnichestvo on the territory of the foreign country, and the second one is carried out by educational organizations that are ready to accept for training those who have successfully passed through the first stage.
